Loft Flooring

Loft Ladders Scotland supply and install the highest quality, 18mm, moisture resistant chipboard flooring. Our loft boarding is tongue and grooved on all four sides ensuring a strong, continuous floor space without gaps that is securely installed with screws to allow flooring to be lifted should you require access to cabling in future. Loft boards will be raised if required, to avoid cutting notches for cables.

Based on an average 3 bedroom house with a total loft floor area of 54 square meters (18 square meters for each section: middle section, front and rear eve spaces), we would charge ~£1620 for supply and fit. (54 x £30). You are of course free to decide how much of your loft space to floor, as many customers opt for just the middle section.

If you have excessive amounts of insulation where the joist isn't visible, we can raise the floor height to accommodate for your insulation so that it won't compact the ceiling.
